EEL

REVIEW:
Students had to TELL ME the QUESTIONS an ADJECTIVE answer before they can take a seat. GREAT JOB!

ON their boards, they had to draw our the VERB chart.

NEW GRAMMAR: Here are the new concepts we covered today.
POS:  We took some time to go to the deep end with Principle Parts of Verbs and Tenses. I hope this made sense. Remember, a verb is a verb is a verb—no matter what form. (think playdough forms)
 MATH
We did a few Mental Math strings, then played a game of GROUP BOARDSLAM.

IEW

REVIEW:
We took a lot of time to listen to everyone’s paper. I just LOVED all the creativity. The kiddos also did a great job HUNTING out those decorations.

STYLE: We looked at our papers for BANNED WORDS.

STRUCTURE: UNIT 5
So use whatever picture(s) you would like this week. We will use up our IEW time reading any papers your child wishes to share. (either from this last week or last semester)
