Week 12

WEEK 12
Jesus saved us by His birth, and He is our Savior.
(not sure if this is the exact wording of our sentence we built. I know it was close. Our kids are so smart and have beautiful thoughts and ideas.

EEL
We had fun using our English Grammar knowledge to decipher dressups and grammar through Christmas jingles playing BINGO.

I also took some time to introduce the individual incentives this next semester. We will use BUNCHEMS! Our students can start counting towards their bunchems now!

Here are the rules:
1 Chart = 2 Bunchems
AND I will DOUBLE their earnings on a chart if you capture a photo of them doing their chart in a unique location. (EX: under the table, in a tree, upside down, etc.)

Starting at arrival on Week 13, moms can come into class with a chart done to earn an extra Bunchem. Up to one Bunchem per week per momma.

EEL HOMEWORK: Focus on Verb Charts and keep getting dialectic with sentences!

MATH
We spent a little time doing a little boardslam. Seems like the girls enjoyed their Christmas gift. :)

IEW
We spent some time talking about the FOH. We talked through the phases and suggested homework for the break.

Here is what I have so far:
Johnny Appleseed- Victoria
Tesla- Margaret

We ended our time reading/listening to everyone’s papers. Great work, kids!
